Heart Expander

What is a heart expander? A heart expander is a physical pose you can take with the body (often done in Yoga) to open up the chest, rib, and throat area, allowing fuller, easier breathing and drawing attention and energy to the emotional aspect of the heart. The awareness we bring to that area often provides a moment of reflection and release, leaving you feeling lighter and freer.  I aptly named this blue beauty "Heart Expander" because its a visual reminder to release stored up heavy emotions from the heart and move into a lighter state of being. It's all about blossoming, peak growth, expansion, and moving through tender situations with grace and ease. 
 
Painted with an array of blue hues: indigo, ultramarine, and cobalt as well as highly reflective silver ink.
